Charity collections - local warning

Reports have been received of people going door to door in Welwyn Garden City collecting money for 'local sports clubs'.

Please be vigilant if you receive visitors asking for donations, always check their ID and if in doubt contact the organisation they claim to be representing.

Officers from Hertfordshire Constabulary's Cyber and Fraud team have now set up their calendar of events from October through to next year where they visit local libraries to provide information, with other partner agencies, designed to help keep you safer.  You are welcome to attend any of these FREE events - please see attached list of dates.
